In every case, prior to proceedings being issued, we provide a comprehensive advice in order to establish the worth of the debtor and an estimated value of his assets.
This procedure avoids the waste of financial resources involved with trying to enforce a court judgement where there are no means available for the debtor to pay.
» Fixed legal costs
When the debtor admits the debt or fails to defend the action we are able to quote competitive fixed cost legal fees. You know exactly the extent you are committed financially and after successful enforcement your costs are almost totally recoverable from the debtor.
» Insolvency proceedings
We can personally serve Statutory Demands both to individuals, partnerships and company debtors. Bankruptcy Petitions and Company Winding up Orders can follow this procedure.
» Liaison with Bailiffs and Sheriffs
Court enforcement officers have different powers and work different hours. We have personal contacts within these bodies and can maximise their efficiency for the benefit of our clients with continual contact and the sharing of asset information and location gained through our investigations.
» Attachment of earnings
One of the most successful methods of making recovery from your debtor is a court order for an attachment of earnings the employer deducts payment from wages or salary in instalments. Where the employer is not known we are also able to help through our tracing department.
